Mechanical Engineer II

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our mechanical engineering team. The role involves contributing to the design, development, and testing of electromechanical equipment and machinery within a collaborative project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute detailed phases of large‑scale projects, adapting standard techniques as needed.
• Conduct mechanical engineering experiments to validate theoretical concepts.
• Develop new concepts, products, equipment, and processes while ensuring design documentation meets requirements.
• Monitor project schedules and report progress on functional devices or systems.
• Prepare technical reports for engineering, management, and sales teams.
• Design, implement, verify, validate, and transfer mechanical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to overall design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and testing.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical journals, legal documents, and customer inquiries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience presenting technical information to senior management or public audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as PTC Creo and SolidWorks (3+ years).
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems; Windchill preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in product development or R&D environments.
• Ability to apply statistical and mathematical methods (frequency distribution, variance analysis, correlation).
• Mechanical engineering analysis and testing techniques.
