Painting Production Process Specialist

About the role

The Painting Production Process Specialist will join Maserati’s Painting Unit, reporting to the Head of the Painting Unit. The role focuses on defining, optimizing and certifying preparation, painting and polishing processes for high‑performance luxury vehicles, ensuring they meet Maserati’s standards for quality, timing and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve preparation, painting and polishing processes, guaranteeing compliance with quality, schedule and cost targets.
• Manage and coordinate resources within the painting area to achieve production goals.
• Develop production processes for new products, colours, materials and technologies, supporting market requirements.
• Specify, acquire, maintain and calibrate measuring instruments in line with company procedures.
• Certify painting processes and deliver training to operational teams.
• Collaborate closely with Plant Process and Quality teams to resolve any process anomalies.

Required profile

• Solid experience in automotive painting or comparable manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to define, optimise and certify production processes.
• Experience managing measurement instruments and ensuring their traceability.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate resources and meet production targets.
