About the role
Şişecam Flat Glass Italy is seeking a Plant Engineer to support the production of flat glass at its San Giorgio di Nogaro facility. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high‑quality manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and analyze the production process, monitoring key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and raw material composition.
- Optimize existing processes through measurements, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage energy use efficiently and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production line issues promptly.
- Collect and analyze production data, prepare reports, and coordinate with operational staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar production engineering role.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Italian.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
