Procurement Specialist

About the role

NHOA Energy is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to join its Global Procurement team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will support sourcing activities and optimise procurement strategies for utility‑scale battery energy storage projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFIs and RFQs for project needs.
• Analyse supplier offers (pricing, terms, lead times, scope) and support negotiations.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, ensuring compliance during negotiation and contracting.
• Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers and other project teams.
• Build strong internal relationships and align procurement strategies with business priorities.
• Monitor procurement budgets and promote cost‑optimization.
• Define and track KPIs for performance, compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain and update vendor lists via internal tools and vendor portals.
• Ensure adherence to HSE procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in engineering, energy or EPC/project‑based environments.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with high accountability.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time.
