Project Manager – Energy Storage

About the role

BYD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on‑site energy storage projects worldwide. You will be the primary point of contact for commissioning, grid connection, and acceptance, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑site execution of energy storage projects, overseeing commissioning and acceptance.
• Develop and implement service plans covering commissioning, grid connection, delivery acceptance, and training.
• Document technical issues, provide solutions, and handle after‑sales technical support.
• Coordinate with sales, customers, technical teams, and on‑site personnel to resolve commissioning challenges.
• Liaise with domestic project managers, production, quality, and after‑sales departments to address site failures.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of overseas experience managing energy storage projects to successful completion.
• Familiarity with the full lifecycle of energy storage delivery; PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong English listening, reading, and writing abilities; willing to reside overseas.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
