Sales Development Representative – SMB Italy

About the role
As a Sales Development Representative for Glovo in Italy, you will be the first point of contact for potential SMB clients. You will build and nurture a pipeline of leads, ensuring a smooth hand‑over to the Sales Executives and contributing to the growth of our fast‑moving delivery platform.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach to prospective SMB clients.
- Qualify leads sourced from various pipelines and turn them into sales opportunities.
- Contact prospects via cold calls, professional emails and WhatsApp Business.
- Present Glovo’s services, understand client needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Proactively identify and pursue new market opportunities.
- Arrange meetings or calls between prospects and Sales Executives.
- Report weekly, monthly and quarterly results to the Sales Team Leader.
- Stay informed about new products, services, pricing and payment plans.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in sales or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Comfortable making phone calls and writing professional emails.
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced team environment.
- High proficiency in Italian (C1 level).
