About the role

As a Team Manager at Burberry in Milan, you will lead a customer‑facing team on the shop floor, delivering exceptional service and driving store performance across all product categories. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the team embodies Burberry’s values and standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with store management to enhance sales performance, consistently achieve targets and develop strategies to exceed KPIs.
  • Analyse store performance, report business trends and competitor activity to support growth.
  • Lead and support all activities that contribute to store objectives, including visual merchandising and product launches.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local customers, personal shoppers, competitors, events and third‑party partners.
  • Lead a high‑performing, service‑oriented team, set performance targets and drive productivity.
  • Provide an excellent client experience, develop long‑term relationships with top clients and act as a specialist for all product categories.
  • Monitor CRM database, execute CRM initiatives, capture meaningful client data and drive targeted outreach.
  • Ensure consistent training standards and product knowledge across the team.

Required profile

  • Passion for the Burberry brand and luxury retail.
  • Strong retail background with proven leadership and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work actively on the shop floor and engage directly with clients.
  • High integrity and commitment to company compliance.
  • Role model who inspires and develops team members.

Required skills

  • Comprehensive product knowledge across all Burberry categories.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools for client management and outreach.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, KPIs and market trends.
  • Effective communication and coaching abilities.
