Chef de Rang – Room Service

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Rang – Room Service to join our team at W Sardinia. In this full‑time position you will ensure the highest standards of service, cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our dining areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑of‑day closing duties: store reusable goods, break down supplies, clean equipment and work areas, restock items, lock refrigerators and doors, turn off lights and complete the daily cleaning checklist.
• Set up, stock and maintain service stations; inspect and maintain the presentation of china, glassware and silverware before each service.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, welcome guests according to brand standards and answer telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Support teammates, develop positive working relationships and respond to employee concerns.
• Carry out physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, moving over uneven surfaces and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read and verify information in small print.
• Physical capability to perform the duties described.
• Commitment to follow company policies and maintain confidentiality.
