About the role

The Hostess at Terrazza Danieli is the first and last impression of the dining experience. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, coordinate reservations, and ensure a seamless flow between the dining room, kitchen, and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests at the entrance, offering a polished and welcoming presence.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and assign seating to optimise table flow.
• Answer telephone calls, handle reservations, provide restaurant and hotel information, and manage wait‑lists during peak periods.
• Escort guests to their tables promptly, respecting preferences and ensuring an organized service rhythm.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the entrance, host stand, and dining‑room sections; inspect tables before opening.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the menu, dishes, ingredients and concept to inform guests and support the service team.
• Recognise regular guests, anticipate their needs and personalise interactions.
