In-Store Trainer – Luxury Retail

About the role
As the first Prada Ambassador in the Milan store, you will nurture a culture of empathy, warmth, passion and proactivity while delivering an exceptional client experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to unlock the store’s full potential, drive business results and lead comprehensive training initiatives for all client advisors.
Key responsibilities
- Identify training needs aligned with business priorities and develop action plans for the store and individual advisors.
- Deliver in‑store training sessions, coaching, daily briefings and best‑practice sharing.
- Collaborate with merchandising, CRM, events and other retail functions to organise joint training activities.
- Conduct team gap analysis, create personalised coaching plans and provide continuous feedback.
- Ensure full cascade of brand, client journey and product knowledge training.
- Promote a self‑learning culture using digital training tools and apps.
- Lead a coaching culture focused on selling skills, clienteling, styling and high‑end product expertise.
- Manage onboarding journeys for new hires, coordinating with HR for seamless induction.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, human resources, psychology or a related field, or equivalent vocational training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail training or a retail managerial role.
- Completed trainer qualification and proven professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of talent management and personnel development methods.
