In-Store Trainer – Luxury Retail

About the role

The In‑Store Trainer will act as the first Prada Ambassador in the Milan boutique, fostering empathy, warmth, passion and proactivity while supporting the Store Manager to achieve business and qualitative goals. The role combines training design, delivery and coaching to develop Client Advisors and store leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs aligned with business priorities and develop action plans for the store and individual advisors.
• Deliver in‑store training sessions, daily briefings, coaching and shadowing programmes.
• Collaborate with merchandising, CRM, events and other retail functions to organise joint training activities.
• Perform team gap analysis, create coaching plans and provide continuous feedback.
• Ensure full cascade of brand, client journey and product knowledge across the team.
• Monitor training quality, retention and promote a self‑learning culture using digital training tools.
• Lead onboarding journeys for new hires and support store leadership in coaching the coach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in learning & development, HR, psychology or related field, or equivalent vocational training.
• 5+ years of experience in retail training or a retail managerial role.
• Completed trainer qualification and proven professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of talent management and personnel development methods.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, coordination and organisational skills.
