Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is a core member of the Engineering & Facilities team at a five‑star luxury hotel. You will ensure that all hotel systems, equipment and physical assets operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or internal departments, resolving issues with minimal disruption.
• Maintain guest rooms, suites, public areas and service zones in pristine condition according to luxury hotel standards.
• Carry out routine checks and upkeep of boilers, chillers, pumps, lighting, fire‑alarm systems and elevators.
• Execute carpentry, painting and minor construction or repair work to preserve aesthetic quality and structural integrity.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring safe completion and compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury‑level service.
• Good communication skills and respect for guest privacy.
