Account Manager - Grocery & Retail Partners

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for an Account Manager to join its Commercial team in Rome, working with the Grocery & Retail or Restaurant team. The role oversees relationships with high-volume strategic partners, using data-driven insights to navigate the quickly evolving quick-commerce landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary consultant for a portfolio of small and medium retail partners, building deep, long-term relationships.
• Use data manipulation and analysis to identify trends and increase profitability and growth for partners and Deliveroo.
• Drive commercial value through upselling, cross-selling and identifying new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to develop bespoke solutions for partner challenges.
• Serve as the main point of contact for strategic partners, resolving complex issues with professional, timely and scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Significant commercial experience, with a background in retail, FMCG or high-growth technology companies.
• Knowledge of the food retail industry and the challenges and opportunities in the grocery sector.
• Proven ability to manage long-term relationships with strategic stakeholders and global brands.
• Professional fluency in English.

What we offer

• Total target compensation of EUR 36,000 to 45,000 per year, with a base salary range of EUR 31,320 to 37,000, under the CCNL Commercio e Terziario (Level 3).
