Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, autonomous Analytics Engineer to join our AI & Data function. You will sit between the Data Management team that ingests raw data into our Databricks platform and the Analytics team that creates insights and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust dbt models on Databricks to transform raw data into clean, conformed, analytics‑ready datasets.
• Define and implement KPI logic in collaboration with business and analytics stakeholders, ensuring consistent definitions across domains.
• Maintain and evolve the semantic/presentation layer, delivering reliable, tested, documented, and performant data products.
• Apply software‑engineering best practices to analytics code, including version control, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.
• Independently onboard new data domains (e.g., marketing attribution, product usage, customer care, subscription) and translate them into usable analytics assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in analytics engineering or a similar data‑focused role.
• Self‑directed, intellectually curious and comfortable exploring unfamiliar data landscapes with limited guidance.
• Strong communication skills to engage business partners and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to make sound judgement calls independently and deliver results at pace.
