Assistant Manager – Wet Deck (Sardinia)

About the role

The Wet Deck at our luxury resort in Sardinia is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a dedicated service team. This full‑time position reports to the Deck Manager and plays a key role in maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to deliver seamless service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, inventory, and securing the area.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and ensure FIFO storage practices.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and report incidents.
• Welcome guests, anticipate needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lb.
