Associate Consultant (2027 Graduates) – AI-Powered Process Automation

About the role

Appian's Customer Success consulting team is looking for 2027 graduates to join as Associate Consultants. The role sits in corporate technology consulting and focuses on building process-centric business applications with the Appian platform, helping clients turn ambitious ideas into reality. The company trains candidates on the specific technical competencies needed, prioritising analytical thinking and communication over deep prior technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, implement and deploy custom, process-centric business applications using the Appian platform
• Evaluate client business strategies and operations to design technical solutions that fix complex workflow inefficiencies
• Build rapid functional prototypes and map end-to-end business models using design thinking
• Combine process improvement disciplines such as application integration, business intelligence and knowledge management
• Work with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, communicating clearly to deliver projects

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a record of high performance in and outside the classroom
• Fluent Italian and English
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to persuade and influence stakeholders
• Logical, analytical problem solving and a willingness to learn new technical tools quickly
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the year

Required skills

• Preferred: foundational experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL)
• Preferred: fluency in AI and LLMs, both strategically and hands-on
• Preferred: leadership experience in student organisations or teams
