CAPEX Financial Controller

About the role

The CAPEX Financial Controller will monitor financial performance and support strategic decisions for data centre operations, partnering with business leaders to ensure transparency and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for data centre operations.
• Analyse performance against budget, provide KPIs and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and procurement to track performance and improve processes.
• Lead monthly closing, define cut‑off accruals and monitor capital expenditures across sites.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards for management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and SOX requirements.
• Drive automation and improvement of financial processes, tools and reporting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fields.
• 5–7 years of financial controlling experience, preferably in data centre or tech infrastructure.
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS and experience with SOX controls.
