Clinical Safety Specialist – Clinical Data Management

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Clinical Safety Specialist to lead the design, documentation, testing and implementation of clinical data collection studies. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement clinical protocols and data collection systems.
• Develop systems for organizing, coding, and reporting data trends.
• Review protocols for cross‑project consistency and identify standard CRF modules.
• Provide strategic input on protocol design with emphasis on safety and data management.
• Resolve data discrepancies and prepare validation reports.
• Generate reports in compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced education (Baccalaureate degree or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence in clinical data management and safety.
