Commercial Finance Specialist – Financial Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Specialist to join our Financial Business Partnering team in Rome. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Supervisor, you will support the business by managing P&L, forecasting, and providing actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage P&L, budget and forecast planning, coordinating inputs from all functions.
• Analyse performance versus forecast, budget and prior year, delivering insights and steering the business.
• Oversee monthly closure, ensuring accurate accounting and preparing management reports.
• Drive visibility on departmental performance (e.g., Marketing, Fixed Cost) with detailed profitability reports, scorecards and KPI monitoring.
• Trigger corrective actions to maximise financial performance in line with company strategy.
• Serve as the primary contact for departments on financial performance analysis and data.
• Support the development of business cases and provide analytical support for events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial finance or related commercial functions.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage complex situations.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
