Data Visualization Intern

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate to join Prada Group’s worldwide Data Analytics team in Milan as a Data Visualization Intern. You will support end‑to‑end data visualization projects, turning business requirements into interactive dashboards that drive decision‑making across the luxury brand portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data solutions for reporting and analysis using Power BI.
• Gather technical and business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into optimal visual designs.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes with big‑data and cloud tools such as Databricks.
• Create custom visuals using TypeScript/React or libraries like D3.js and Vega‑Lite.
• Collaborate with data‑warehouse owners, data architects and IT teams to ensure data quality.
• Communicate progress and maintenance updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related STEM field.
• Academic experience designing and publishing Power BI dashboards for desktop and mobile.
• Basic knowledge of custom‑visual development tools.
• Familiarity with data‑warehouse environments (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile fundamentals.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
