Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Specialist

About the role

Infineum is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineering Specialist to join its Global Engineering organization at the Vado Ligure plant. You will lead the planning, design, and execution of E&I projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute E&I engineering projects at the Vado Ligure site.
• Develop, update and apply technical standards for instrumentation and electrical engineering.
• Support plant reliability and availability through advanced E&I concepts aligned with sustainability strategies.
• Participate in safety studies such as HAZOP.
• Coordinate external engineering contractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, HSSE and cross‑functional teams locally and globally.
• Ensure full compliance with engineering standards, industry regulations and Infineum procedures.
• Develop Project Execution Plans (PEP) during the FEED phase and track capital/expense budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within a chemical or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and capital investment processes.
• Ability to work in multicultural, cross‑functional teams and lead Integrated Project Teams.
• Commitment to HSSE standards and continuous improvement.
