FP&A Specialist – Build Financial Planning from Scratch

About the role

Lexroom is looking for its first Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to transform a nascent finance function into a strategic engine. You will design and own the financial planning infrastructure, turning raw data into actionable insights that guide company decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the management P&L, business plan, and rolling forecasts from the ground up.
• Conduct deep‑dive data analysis on cross‑departmental metrics such as COGS, margins, CAC, LTV, and cost‑per‑lead.
• Partner with department heads and BizOps to create budgets and translate operational metrics into financial reality.
• Support the Head of Finance and founders in preparing board decks, financial reporting packages, and fundraising materials.
• Identify financial gaps, prioritize issues, and proactively address “fire‑fighting” opportunities.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, M&A, or venture capital.
• A builder’s mindset with a desire to create financial systems from scratch in a fast‑growing startup.
• Comfort with “duct‑tape” solutions today to develop robust models for tomorrow.
