About the role
The HR Manager will be the primary HR point of contact for our operations in Italy, ensuring day‑to‑day HR services are delivered efficiently and in line with local legislation. Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner for Global Operations, you will translate global HR strategy into effective local actions and support both business performance and employee engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, fully compliant with Italian labour and social legislation.
- Provide dedicated HR support and guidance to local managers, addressing people‑related needs and executing HR actions.
- Lead internal communication efforts, cascading global and local messages and supporting employer branding initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Lead HR Business Partner (Operations & Healthcare) to align HR priorities and key initiatives.
- Oversee and continuously improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle, coaching leaders on performance, development and career growth.
- Act as the primary liaison for unions and external stakeholders, fostering constructive industrial relations.
- Monitor employee engagement initiatives, ensuring follow‑up on feedback and action plans.
- Partner with HR Centres of Expertise to co‑create and implement innovative HR solutions and deploy global programs locally.
- Use data‑driven insights to monitor organizational performance and drive targeted HR interventions.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an HR support role with a solid track record in payroll and operational HR management.
- Hands‑on expertise delivering core HR services, including payroll coordination, employee relations and compliance with local labour legislation.
- Experience supporting business leaders across functions and translating business needs into effective HR solutions.
- Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, balancing global HR frameworks with local requirements.
- Track record of contributing to or implementing HR initiatives and processes.
