HR Manager – Resort & Spa (Sardinia)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Manager to lead the full employee life‑cycle at our beautiful coastal resort in Sardinia. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders, a reliable point of contact for staff, and an organized administrator who ensures HR processes are professional, efficient, and human‑centred.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire employee life‑cycle – recruitment, onboarding, development, and off‑boarding.
• Advise and support managers on all HR matters.
• Maintain professional HR processes and standards across the resort.
• Prepare and administer employment contracts and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Italian labour law and internal policies.
• Drive recruiting activities in close collaboration with department heads.
• Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, development, and retention.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for employee queries.
• Collaborate with external partners such as authorities, payroll providers, and consultants.
• Support HR controlling, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in HR, business administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in hospitality or an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of Italian labour law (mandatory).
• Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory); German is a plus.
• Structured, independent, solution‑oriented working style.
• High social competence, discretion and professionalism.
• Hands‑on mentality with the ability to work strategically and operationally.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing contracts and documentation.
