International HR Compensation Specialist (French Speaker)

About the role

Saipem is seeking an International HR Compensation Specialist who is fluent in French and English to join its Compensation & Benefits team in Milan. The role supports the development and implementation of compensation strategies for the company’s global workforce, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market data and develop compensation strategies that meet corporate needs.
• Collaborate with local HR teams to define grading systems, compensation structures and incentive plans.
• Monitor market compensation practices to maintain competitive offers.
• Prepare analytical reports on staff compensation levels and policy effectiveness.
• Support the annual salary review process.
• Coordinate with external providers for compensation surveys.
• Promote transparency and communication regarding compensation systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in HR compensation, preferably with exposure to the French market.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
