IT Service Desk Technician – Global Support

About the role

As an IT Service Desk Technician you will provide first‑line technical assistance to colleagues across all Dr. Schär Group locations. You will help users with devices, accounts and key applications, ensuring smooth daily operations in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for hardware, software and network incidents.
• Classify, prioritize and resolve user requests using the IT Service Management tool, escalating when necessary.
• Configure, maintain and support client devices, peripherals and new workplace setups (laptops, desktops, etc.).
• Support IT systems in manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate on IT projects and keep internal documentation and knowledge base up to date.
• Travel occasionally to other company sites as required.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Android and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with PC hardware and software architecture.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration.
• Independent, solution‑oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English and proficient in either Italian or German.
