Junior Indirect Procurement Buyer – Marketing & Communication

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Indirect Procurement Buyer to support our Marketing & Communication spend categories, such as gadgets, print materials, signs and related services. You will work across the illycaffè group to ensure efficient sourcing, contract management and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of category‑specific supply strategies and lead strategic sourcing activities.
• Build and maintain supplier relationship management programs using the Procurement Portal.
• Develop deep category expertise in marketing sourcing and monitor the supply market.
• Redline, amend and implement contracts, ensuring legal adequacy and proper system capture.
• Provide operational support to guarantee uninterrupted service flow.
• Assist the team lead in compliance with procurement policies, guidelines and legal requirements.
• Generate value by selecting the right supplier base and recommending KPI and performance metrics.
• Plan and execute low‑to‑medium complexity sourcing projects (RFPs/Tenders) on global, regional or local levels.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement and/or marketing procurement, preferably in a structured organization.
• Strong planning, organizational and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and ecosystem partners.
• Fluent English communication skills.
