Quality Field Engineer

About the role

The Quality Field Engineer provides on‑site technical support for critical product issues, acting as the final escalation point to restore uptime and confirm root causes. The role bridges customers, dealers, and internal teams to ensure high‑quality data collection and effective issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Support and resolve high‑priority or unresolved cases with a focus on diagnostics.
• Introduce corrective actions in the field and validate fast technical containment solutions.
• Deliver advanced diagnostics on complex systems and work directly with Engineering for in‑field validation.
• Record complex field issues with complete technical data (logs, videos, freeze‑frames, telematics, mileage, duty cycle, environmental conditions).
• Escalate critical issues to Engineering, Field Quality, and Product Support with full evidence.
• Maintain global Issue Master accuracy for visibility and consistency.
• Visit strategic fleets and customers experiencing repeated or severe issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers, set timelines, and restore confidence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field quality analysis and technical escalation.
• Ability to work independently on complex cases and provide hands‑on diagnostics.
• Strong collaboration skills with dealers, customers, and internal functions.
