Quality Specialist – Quality Management

About the role

ABB is looking for a Quality Specialist to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit. You will help build a strong quality culture, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement to exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor quality KPIs, including non‑conformities and customer complaints, and ensure timely data collection and analysis.
• Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering on new product launches, design changes, and process updates.
• Support Quality Assurance by reviewing and updating internal procedures for standard compliance.
• Plan and execute internal audits and verification activities.
• Promote risk‑based thinking and drive continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Define and monitor product and process quality requirements throughout development and production.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality‑related roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and problem‑solving tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
