Retail Merchandising Intern

About the role

Join the Prada Group as a Retail Merchandising Intern and support the worldwide merchandising team in shaping product selection for luxury retail stores. You will work closely with managers across regions to align product assortments with the brand’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Worldwide Retail Merchandising Manager in choosing products for main and special orders and defining quantities for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with Country Retail Merchandising Managers to adapt global selections to local market needs.
• Support sales budget planning together with Planning and Finance teams.
• Visit stores regularly to observe market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
• Track sales results to maintain the optimal product mix and visual presentation.
• Provide market feedback to the Worldwide Merchandising Manager for future collections.
• Work with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure products are well presented in stores and windows.
• Help set up key stores, present collections to local teams, and create product training tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics or a related field.
• Strong interest in the luxury industry and product categories.
• Very good English proficiency (CEFR C1).
• Result‑oriented mindset with the ability to work by objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
