Shift Leader IPU HPG 80 - 100%

About the role

ABB is looking for a Shift Leader to supervise production teams in the IPU HPG area. You will ensure smooth operation of machinery, equipment and assembly lines while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise shift team progress against work plans and provide regular feedback to management.
• Assist management with staff movements due to vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities.
• Reinforce focus on volume, efficiency and on‑time delivery.
• Allocate, coordinate and oversee shift orders and work‑plan execution on the production line.
• Lead the shift in resolving technical, quality and logistic issues.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in UPS assembly or civil/industrial electrical field.
• Experience with production planning tools, safety checks and quality tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and other quality‑tracking tools.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
