Temporary Product Engineer - Electronics

About the role

ABB is looking for a temporary Product Engineer in electronics in Frosinone, reporting to the Product Engineering Manager. The engineer leads and manages projects and activities during the product lifecycle after release for sales, coordinating multi-location and cross-functional teams and ensuring customer value and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects and activities during the product lifecycle after release for sales, coordinating multi-location and cross-functional teams and monitoring internal and external resources.
• Manage project costs, schedules and objectives, and handle interdependencies between workstreams.
• Partner with business units and external resources to ensure requirements are met, and manage change requests, risks and customer expectations.
• Manage product changes and customizations according to the ABB gate model, from request to release for sales.
• Work closely with agile teams, operations and sales units on response time, quality and product performance.
• Transfer new products to operations with drawings, bill of materials, working instructions, spare parts list and product manuals.

Required profile

• Master's degree (5 years) in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of electronic manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in Italian.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• PLM systems such as Windchill
• SAP and MS Office
• 2D/3D CAD tools
