Territory Manager – IVD Sales – Tuscany & Emilia‑Romagna

About the role

Meridian Bioscience is seeking a results‑driven Territory Manager to lead sales growth across the Tuscany and Emilia‑Romagna regions in the Italian in‑vitro diagnostics (IVD) market. The role focuses on expanding market share, building strategic customer relationships, and delivering data‑driven commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sustainable revenue growth and increase market share in the assigned regions.
• Develop and execute high‑impact commercial strategies targeting new business opportunities and key accounts.
• Utilise CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, for pipeline management, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Provide accurate, data‑based business insights and regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Initiate strategic initiatives to accelerate market penetration and improve commercial effectiveness.
• Motivate and support a small sales team to consistently exceed targets, when applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales success within the Italian IVD market.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or a related scientific field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and commercial acumen.
• Proactive, self‑driven attitude with a growth‑oriented mindset.
• Experience leading or developing high‑performing teams is a plus.
