Gym Supervisor

About the role

The Gym Supervisor will shape the atmosphere and experience of The Social Hub’s JIM space – a gym designed for connection, curiosity and shared energy. You will manage the environment, lead a team of JIM Hosts, and ensure every visitor feels seen, safe and welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Host the space and lead a team of JIM Hosts who greet, guide and connect with members and guests.
• Read the room, sense energy, tension and joy, and adapt your presence to lift the collective experience.
• Curate moving experiences, design formats, moments and interactions that feel alive and inclusive.
• Build an affirming, joyful culture and shape the creative direction of JIM programming.
• Manage the physical environment, ensuring lighting, music, scent and tone create a safe atmosphere.
• Coordinate trainer scheduling, bookings and invoices to keep operations smooth.
• Collaborate with Membership, Events and F&B teams to deliver integrated social experiences.

Required profile

• Warmth, humour and strong intuition.
• Attention to small details that make big differences.
• Presence over perfection; ability to lead while letting others shine.
• Experience in events, facilitation, performing arts, hospitality or community building.
• Passion for enjoyable movement, conversational coaching and belonging‑focused culture.
