Host/Hostess – Guest Services at W Hotels Sardinia

About the role

Join the vibrant team at W Hotels Sardinia as a Host/Hostess, welcoming guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience. You will be the first point of contact, creating a warm and professional atmosphere for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any required items.
• Arrange tables and seating for groups with special needs, and keep the dining area organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies; report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Clear, professional communication skills and respect for confidentiality.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality service.
