Commis de Rang – Fine Dining

About the role

The Commis de Rang supports the service team in delivering an exceptional fine‑dining experience at Orient Express’s luxury hotel in Venice. Working closely with the Chef de Rang, you will help ensure seamless service and memorable moments for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Rang with mise en place, table setup and maintenance.
• Serve food and beverages according to fine‑dining standards.
• Maintain the presentation of the dining room throughout service.
• Support guests with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Help coordinate service flow and ensure timely delivery of courses.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for hospitality and luxury service.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance and guest‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast‑paced team.

Required skills
