Chef de Partie

About the role

The Hoxton is preparing to open its Florence hotel, which will include a ground-floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard, as well as 161 bedrooms and a basement meeting and events space. It is looking for a full-time, permanent Chef de Partie to run a section in its busy kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Bring delicious flavours to guests' tables by running a section in the busy kitchen.
• Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment where they can be themselves.
• Keep operations running smoothly, with orders and deliveries arriving and going as needed, and maintain high food hygiene standards.
• Work with the Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make the kitchen creative and ever-changing.
• Ensure statutory compliance in all food and drink-related areas.
• Pay attention to the details so that every dish served is as good as the last.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast-moving kitchen team, with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority.
• Passion for food and fresh ingredients.
• Natural at leading and managing others, leading by example.
• Positive attitude towards hospitality, teamwork and creativity while respecting brand standards.
