Compliance Officer Assistant (VIE) – Milan

About the role

Credit Agricole CIB Italy's Global Compliance Department, based in Milan, supports the bank's local Compliance and Financial Security Risk function. It acts as the final layer of control for regulatory, compliance, anti-money laundering and embargo risks and gives ongoing advice on these topics. This 12-month VIE places you in the local Compliance and Financial Security team, supporting the Local Compliance Officer and senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out AML, Compliance Markets and transversal HO quarterly controls and additional local controls as needed
• Gather controls performed by other geographies and feed them into the branch's general Control Plan
• Implement and follow up on recommendations from internal controls, external consultants, IGE and regulators
• Record and upload controls in the internal tool
• Produce KPIs, dashboards and reports for local and HO use
• Take part in risk assessment exercises and local and HO committees
• Provide general support to other team members

Required profile

• European candidate, under 28 years old
• Master's degree from a university, business school or engineering school, specialising in Financial Security / Compliance
• At least 6 months of experience in compliance/financial security is an advantage
• Fluent English and French; average Italian is a plus
