Senior Analyst - Data & Analytics, Italy

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Data & Analytics division, part of Marsh, is hiring a Senior Analyst in Milan. The team works with clients across industries such as financial services, climate and sustainability, energy, retail and transportation, building tailored solutions from analytical design through prototype testing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels to help them solve their most pressing challenges
• Design potential solutions for analytical challenges and implement prototypes while assessing their effectiveness
• Share ideas with clients and colleagues on ongoing projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline (data science, mathematics, natural sciences, statistics, computer science, engineering, etc.)
• Data-driven mindset and ability to explain complex data science concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
• At least 2 years of experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banks or financial institutions
• Excellent verbal and written English and Italian
• Interest in financial services and risk management is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency with numbers and ideally programming in Python or R
• Eagerness to keep extending knowledge of technologies

What we offer

• Permanent contract under the CCNL Commercio, level 1, with a base salary of EUR 43,000 to 52,000 gross per year (full-time equivalent)
