About the role
Fraser Yachts is seeking a proactive Crew Coordinator to join its Viareggio office. The role is central to managing crew movements, payroll, compliance and logistical support for a fleet of luxury yachts.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee allocation of primary and secondary fleet, managing 200‑400 crew members.
- Administer monthly payroll, liaise with owners’ offices on funding, social security and crew matters.
- Prepare and monitor annual crew salary budgets and medical coverage.
- Draft and issue SEA’s, addendums, NDAs, training and termination agreements.
- Coordinate with third‑party offshore employers for employment documentation.
- Maintain crew document validity within the yacht document management system.
- Handle probation periods, performance reviews, exit interviews and grievance procedures.
- Conduct internal audits for ISM/ISPS and MLC 2006 compliance and support vessel audits.
- Organise transport and accommodation logistics for crew changes, securing client/captain approvals.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of experience in a similar crew or maritime administration role.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet short‑notice deadlines.
- Good understanding of maritime qualifications, training structures and flag‑state requirements.
