IS Functional Analyst – ERP Integrations

About the role

ABB Robotics is building a world‑class IS/IT organization to support its global sales, service and production operations. As an IS Functional Analyst for ERP Integrations, you will design, operate and govern the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration backbone that connects the ERP ecosystem with non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and manage SAP BTP sub‑accounts, entitlements and platform services across development, test and production environments.
• Architect, implement and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and external systems using SAP Integration Suite while adhering to clean‑core principles.
• Develop cloud applications and extensions with SAP BTP services such as Build Apps, Build Process Automation, HANA Cloud and ABAP Environment.
• Create technical blueprints that assess solution feasibility, define implementation approaches and ensure cost‑effective interactions with existing landscapes.
• Monitor platform performance, track consumption metrics and propose optimisation actions to maintain scalability and cost transparency.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate resolution with platform teams or SAP support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP BTP administration and integration projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP integration patterns and clean‑core concepts.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and collaborate with global ERP, security and partner teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
