Junior Data Analyst

About the role

This position is for a Junior Data Analyst who will support data‑driven decision‑making by collecting, cleaning, and analysing data from multiple sources. You will work closely with senior analysts and cross‑functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights that help monitor performance and guide strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organise data from various internal and external sources.
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across datasets.
• Maintain and update data documentation and datasets regularly.
• Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and summary documents for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support ad‑hoc data requests and routine analytical tasks.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and data sources used in analyses.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work with structured datasets and follow data governance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and develop analytical skills.
• Educational background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
