Project Manager - Financial Services

About the role

Capco, a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services sector, is expanding its consulting team in Italy and is hiring a Project Manager. The Project Manager drives success over a full project or programme lifecycle, designing, planning and implementing projects and programmes according to scope, targets, objectives, delivery time, budget and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining strategic roadmaps and objectives across client projects and programmes, and define project scope and goals within the Financial Services industry
• Create project plans with milestone targets, adhere to deadlines and allocate resources
• Deliver projects and programmes successfully against the defined success criteria and goals
• Communicate and report effectively and consistently to business stakeholders
• Ensure an appropriate rollout strategy and engagement
• Contribute to and improve project management tools and methodology as part of the project management community
• Partner with clients, product owners and project teams to deliver on time and on budget, and perform quality control throughout development

Required profile

• Significant project management experience and knowledge of the Financial Services industry
• Experience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm is highly desired (with Financial Services clients)
• Experience working on and leading implementation projects

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as agile/scrum and waterfall
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, Confluence and Trello
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams

What we offer

• Minimum gross annual base salary from EUR 29,000, with a possible higher offer depending on experience and fit, and eligibility for a discretionary/variable bonus
