Technical Lead

About the role

Capco, a global technology and business consultancy focused on financial services, is expanding its consulting team in Italy and is looking for a Technical Lead in Milan. The role oversees technical teams, ensures smooth operations and drives successful project outcomes. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Understand project needs and plan and design the structure of technology solutions, defining work schedules, assigning tasks and setting goals
• Collaborate with team members, management and clients to ensure projects meet quality standards
• Monitor systems so they meet user needs and business goals
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
• Oversee assigned programs, including code reviews
• Assist in solving technical issues as they arise
• Ensure implementation of agreed-upon architecture and infrastructure
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions, and stay informed about industry trends

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience as Technical Lead or IT Architect
• Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
• Understanding of strategic IT solutions
• Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of English
• Problem-solving aptitude, organizational and leadership skills

• Relational and non-relational databases, including vector databases
• Cloud technologies such as Azure
