Senior Account Representative, Large Enterprise

About the role

PayPal is looking for a Senior Account Representative for its Large Enterprise business in Milan. The role works independently to influence processes, improve quality and efficiency, and recommends solutions that strengthen business outcomes. It focuses on large merchant accounts, driving retention, upsell and cross-sell.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies aligned with PayPal's vision for sustainable, long-term value for merchants
• Drive revenue retention, upsell and cross-sell, consistently hitting sales quotas and exceeding KPIs
• Negotiate and manage complex commercial terms, contracts and agreements
• Monitor account health, proactively identify and mitigate risks to merchant satisfaction
• Advocate for merchant needs and oversee merchant onboarding, integration and operations
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with merchants, including senior executives, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on account plans
• Manage pipelines, forecast revenue and report on sales activities

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in account management, client success or sales, ideally in payments, technology or financial services
• Proven success growing accounts and achieving sales quotas through retention, upsell and cross-sell
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work across product, engineering and operations teams

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the payments industry, e-commerce and merchant services
• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Analytical thinking and strategic account planning

What we offer

• Pay range in Milan of EUR 49,200 to EUR 69,960 base annually, with total target cash of EUR 82,000 to EUR 116,600 annually
