Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

As a Senior Finance Business Partner you will join Siemens’ Finance team in Italy, supporting the Electrification and Automation Business Unit. You will combine financial controlling, business partnering and digital improvement initiatives to drive the unit’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial results, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and governance standards.
• Monitor key metrics such as revenue, margins, operating expenses and working capital to support business objectives.
• Partner with proposal, product and execution teams to define and optimise financial processes.
• Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, working‑capital management and governance structures.
• Review, optimise and standardise finance processes for scalability and efficiency, including the implementation of AI‑driven tools, automation and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate innovative technologies and enable smarter decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Background in a product‑ and project‑driven industrial environment (sales or manufacturing).
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• European work permit.
• Commitment to inclusiveness and openness.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP (preferably S/4HANA).
• Proficiency with Office 365.
