Senior Project Manager

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead infrastructure and cloud initiatives for its global clients. The role is based in Milan, Italy, and operates on a hybrid schedule (three days onsite per week). You will be responsible for ensuring service stability, managing crises, and delivering projects that meet strict SLA and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for crisis management, process management, SLA adherence and service improvement within the business unit.
• Drive the run arena covering system administration, storage and backup service towers.
• Manage project and transition activities, ensuring zero escalations and zero surprises for customers.
• Act as primary customer‑facing liaison, negotiating and maintaining strong relationships.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in project management.
• Proven experience with global clients and flexible shift timings.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Italian and English.
• Customer‑oriented attitude and ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Operating systems: UNIX and Windows.
• Virtualisation: VMware.
• Storage and backup technologies.
• ITIL and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Project management tools: MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Google Cloud platform and cloud project delivery.
