Guest Services Associate III

About the role

The Guest Services Associate III provides front‑desk support for guests at W Sardinia, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs, and overall guest satisfaction. This full‑time, on‑site position is the first point of contact for visitors and plays a key role in representing the hotel’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments, late‑check‑out requests and room changes.
• Secure payments, activate or re‑issue room keys, and manage credit‑card authorizations.
• Verify billing accuracy, document exceptions, and communicate room availability to housekeeping and other departments.
• Answer and record guest calls, requests, and concerns; follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide directions, information, and arrange transportation for guests and visitors.
• Handle cash, checks, vouchers, and other payment types; count and secure the bank at shift start and end.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and run daily reports and contingency lists.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to company policies, and report safety or security incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to support team goals and follow quality‑assurance standards.

• Use of hotel reservation and property‑management software.
