Account Executive - Life Sciences (Italy)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring an Account Executive for its Life Sciences sales team in Italy. The role drives growth across strategic accounts in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostics sectors, acting as a trusted advisor and general manager of the territory. It suits an experienced enterprise sales professional who builds long-term account strategies, engages C-level executives and coordinates cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic account plans for a defined set of named Life Sciences accounts across Italy
• Lead complex, end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through contract signature
• Partner with product specialists and solutions architects to design and position the right Salesforce solutions for each customer's digital transformation priorities
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders to drive long-term customer success and revenue growth

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage C-level executives with a consultative approach
• Experience selling into Life Sciences accounts (pharma, biotech, medical devices or diagnostics)
• Fluent in Italian and English

What we offer

• Typical base salary range of EUR 71,000 to EUR 95,000 per year
• Possible access to an incentive component tailored by grade level
