Automotive Technical Delegate / Flying Doctor

About the role

MSX International supports leading automotive brands worldwide, helping improve repair performance, customer satisfaction and aftersales operations across more than 80 countries. It is looking for an experienced automotive diagnostic specialist to act as the escalation point for dealerships and repairers on complex vehicle issues, helping reduce downtime and deliver first-time-right repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Support dealerships and repairers on site and remotely
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic and drivability faults
• Use OEM tools such as wiTECH and DiagBOX for diagnostics, flashing and parameterization
• Identify root causes using wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Handle both individual cases and wider technical issues across fleets
• Create clear technical reports and case updates
• Coach technicians and give hands-on guidance
• Feed recurring issues into continuous improvement

Required profile

• Strong experience in automotive diagnostics, technical support or workshop/field service
• Proven ability to fix complex electrical and electronic faults
• Experience working with workshops, engineering or technical teams
• Ability to support and guide technicians
• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus

Required skills

• OEM diagnostic tools (e.g. wiTECH, DiagBOX)
• Reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Preferred: modern vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, body electronics), CAN/LIN/FlexRay networks, root cause analysis and guided diagnostics
• Preferred: field-based or multi-site support experience and an OEM/importer technical support background
